unbelievable Every so often I get a bit tired of working and I decide to take a break. On occasion I decide to read some CL ad's for the comical entertainment. Unlike most guys who trip over words that are 3 syllables or longer, I actually read the full ad.
Now, ladies, I completely understand the man of your dreams probably is not sitting at home reading and posting CL in hopes of you two finding each other. I get it. However, as I read these ads, and I understand you are probably just rushing through another pointless ad, I can't help but feel that your words are truly your words. That, if you had more time, while you may apply improved grammar and punctuation, the moral of your ad will still ring the same -- pathetic.
So the spammers attack as they do us all, but obviously you have chosen to write despite this annoying tidbit. I said this before and I'll do so again -- use some common sense. No guy cares that you have received hundreds of replies or that you don't want to sleep with him right away (yeah right). These ads sound all the same. I re one ad claiming some crazy stuff about not liking guys genitalia and won't go down on him and no sex until marriage, yet she had kids and weighed something in the vicinity that requires Bloomberg to ban sodas over 16oz and blah blah blah, but there are other things she would do to be kinky. My goodness, what a horrible mental image. Really? No sex, no oral and you have something kinky to offer? Like what is left?
LOL - some chick is looking for a tall guy in his late 30's with a long list of demands including a 32" waist - um, are you looking for a recently rescued POW? I thought you wanted a man. Maybe she should camp out at a local high school.
What most these ads share is the stupidity to actually address the sex topic --
I would think you would be able to tell somewhat if that is an issue when you have a conversation. It's like we are given these demands like a paint by number coloring book in school. The best is when they mention how they met so many people already and it was great but not what they were expecting. I am sure that a woman would want to hear from me about the girl I stopped seeing recently because it was not what I was expecting. Better yet, let me tell her I met several. That won't get her mind wondering -- NOPE!
One thing Obama did for society was create a simple measure of brain activity. Simply ask a person if they support Obama or not. If they say 'yes' then you know there is no brain activity. I had someone tell me I think too much -- lol -- really, is there such a thing? How often do you think? Do you schedule your thoughts for certain days so they don't collide? That's how these ads are. Like one brain for all the advertisers and they happen to write on the day they are not in possession of that shared brain.
The best of all when they talk about sex is they want to be friends first and later, down the road, if things work out, maybe we can. I should ask them if they have permission from mommy to come out and play. The stupid thing is they say it but don't follow it. And of course that rule is broken if the guy is really cute which is probably how they became single parents in the first place.
The best part of CL personals is the guys responding to the women listings -- let's first understand that by posting in the section where guys read about women, that person checked the box he is a woman looking for a man -- awesome! Then, they continue and blame women for being gold diggers because they have children. Really? So only single women with no kids want a relationship? Gold diggers posting on CL? Talk about being in the wrong place. Unless they are referring to that fake ass huge piece of glass in their ear that resembles a diamond if they actually had the money to buy one. So, they complain about posts where a woman wants him to have a job, car and a place to live. WOAH -- the demands are really getting out of line. Ladies, please, relax. Do you mean all 3 at the same time and now? What if I drive my friend's car, does that count?
